House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ignored China’s fierce warning and landed in Taiwan, and while some are furious, others took to the streets to give her a warm welcome

Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan attracted the attention of millions of people around the world.

This footage that has gone viral shows at least a dozen people wearing masks in the colours of the Ukrainian flag.

Ukraine does not recognise Taiwan and has diplomatic relations with China.

At the same time, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Taiwan has provided the country with financial support.
