He has hosted thousands of hours of live television, reported from major news events worldwide, and played a pivotal role in launching multiple news channels.

Before founding Ticker – Australia’s first streaming news service – Ahron served as Anchor, Senior Reporter, and Melbourne Bureau Chief at Sky News.

Under his leadership, Ticker has grown into a global platform, leveraging innovative technology to transform how news is produced and consumed. He leads dynamic teams, drives innovation, and ensures Ticker remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving media landscape.

Passionate about solving problems through disruption, entrepreneurship and change, Ahron has a long history of building high-performing teams. Ahron is dedicated to reshaping the news industry during uncertain times. He is the publisher of the book Leading Edge – Mastering Through Leadership Through Media, and an accomplished interviewer who has spoken with Prime Ministers and global leaders.

His on-the-ground reporting includes historic events such as the Boxing Day tsunami in Thailand, the London bombings, Black Saturday bushfires, and the Qantas grounding—coverage that earned a Logie Award nomination.

He was named Australian Broadcast Journalist of the Year in 2013. That same year, he reported from Afghanistan on the withdrawal of Australian troops from the region.
