Shares in Tesla and Bitcoin fall

Major Wall Street indexes slid from record levels, with the biggest drag coming from falling Tesla stock.

This comes after Tesla shares fell following a fatal car crash involving one of their driverless cars, which Texan police have been given a warrant to search.

The electric-car maker is down 3.32% after a Tesla vehicle believed to be operating without anyone in the driver’s seat crashed into a tree, killing two occupants.

An 8.4% drop over the weekend in bitcoin, in which Tesla has a big investment, also weighed on its share price.
