The Atlanta Braves have become World Series champions

The Atlanta Braves won Major League Baseball’s World Series for the first time since 1995, winning the seven-game series 4-2 after smashing the Houston Astos 7-0 in round six.

The Braves blew a lead in the previous game but showed resilience to knock off the Houston Astros in Houston, to win the world series.

The win was set up in the top of the third innings with this brutal swing, and the Braves will arguably be the popular winners at least on social media.

Their opponents the Astros were busted cheating in 2017 and 2018 illegally using a camera system to steal signs during the 2017 regular season and postseason, during which they won the World Series.

It’s been called the “most-lopsided series clinching match since Kansas beat St Louis 11-0 in game seven of the 1985 series.”
