US nuclear submarine has been damaged after colliding with an object in international waters

The USS Connecticut sugared an underwater collision in the western pacific.

There are reports at least one crew member was injured.

The nuclear fuel source wasn’t damaged in the incident, which happened on October 2.

The Connecticut is now making its way back to a US port for repair.
