Zoom outage leaves entire country in chaos during lockdown

A major outage on Zoom has mean chaos for thousands of students unable to connect to video conferences in lockdown

Zoom crashed this morning across Australia, causing chaos for students and workers who are studying and working from home.

Over the past year, more than one million students have signed up to use the platform.

Zoom has 19 data centres globally, including one in Sydney and Melbourne. These were the cities that the outage affected worst.
