Dominic Cummings, British PM’ Boris Johnson’s former chief advisor says the government’s response to COVID-19 has been a “failure”

Cummings began giving evidence today at a parliamentary inquiry on the lessons that could be learned.

The former advisor also says that Johnson played down the pandemic, calling it just another “scare story”

Cummings also said Johnson suggested injecting himself with COVID-19 live on TV in an attempt to relax citizens.
