Swiss Government suggests one-third of the population has had COVID-19

As COVID-19 continues to rage through parts of Europe, the Swiss Government estimates about one-third of the population have been infected with the virus since the pandemic began.

Scientists found antibodies in about 20% of those tested and now believe that another 10% have been infected.

Many of the 3 million people thought to have already contracted the virus have no symptoms.

Approximately 650,000 people in Switzerland have tested positive during the pandemic.
