New York fire: officials promise to support those impacted

New York officials have pledged to support all of those who have been impacted by the deadly apartment fire

This comes as the death toll was revised slightly down… with at least 17 people dying in the Twin Parks blaze.

The death toll includes eight children and several other remain in hospital in a critical condition.

The fire is the deadliest of its kind in New York City in more than 30 years.

Bronx borough president Vanessa Gibson says she is “determined to rebuild and heal” in the wake of the incident.
