She noted that a letter sent to the Metropolitan Police in 2018 outlined troubling allegations against her father.
Meghan felt reassured that the allegations were being investigated at that time.
She emphasized that her actions regarding her father were solely to protect her children.
The Duchess called for justice and prioritization of the safety of innocent children. Thomas Markle has denied these allegations, referring to them as “sick lies” in an interview with the Daily Mail.
The accusations originated from Markle’s son, Thomas Markle Jr, who claimed he discovered these images while sorting through his father’s belongings.
Markle Jr reported the findings to police after his father returned to the U.S. due to health issues.
He stated, “I was horrified and I had no option but to report my dad,” revealing his decision to cut ties. Markle Sr, currently recovering from a leg amputation, rebutted his son’s claims as false and bewildering.
His daughter Samantha Markle defended their father, asserting the claims lack merit and suggesting they are intended for financial gain.
