UK COVID-19 response labeled as a "failure"

The world’s leading economies will meet in London soon for face-to-face talks…for the first time in two years.

Foreign Ministers from the G7 countries are meeting in person

They are expected to discuss new ways for the group to defend international rules from rising threats.

The UK Foreign Minister is set to lead discussions on the crisis in Myanmar, as well as relations with Russia, China and Iran.

The G7 group – the world’s seven largest economies – is made up of the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States.

Australia and India have also been invited as guests to the three-day summit… as the UK tries to deepen ties with the Pacific.

The UK will host a summit of leaders in Cornwall next month.
