Florida mother arrested after leaving four kids home alone while working in Las Vegas, facing child neglect charges

Deputies responded to the residence and discovered that no adults were present in the home.
The children, aged 14, 12, 11, and 9, had been left unsupervised when authorities arrived.
Mother arrested
First responders took the injured boy to Celebration Hospital for treatment.
The children’s mother, identified as Irene Miller, stated that she was working in Las Vegas and would return on October 23.
Miller reportedly left on October 18, arranging for a babysitter to come from Tampa to prepare the children for school.
The babysitter, however, did not stay overnight.
After the incident, the injured boy was released from the hospital and the children’s father was contacted to take them home.
Detectives planned to meet Miller at Orlando International Airport as she returned from Las Vegas.
Miller, 50, from Kissimmee, was arrested upon her arrival and charged with four counts of child neglect without great bodily harm.
She has since been booked into the Orange County jail.
