An explosion has been reported in the Russian city of Belgorod

The eruption occurred just 12 kilometres away from the Ukrainian border near the village of Oktyabrsky.

This information has been confirmed by Belgorod’s governor.

Russia says that shelling from Ukraine was responsible for explosion at a camp in Belgorod, Russia.

A Russian news agency is reporting that a shell hit a military camp in the region… wounding four servicemen.

Authorities in Belgorod assure that no civilians were killed.

As to the cause, another Russian news outlet has reported that the blast was caused by “human factors”.
