Canada has become the latest nation to ban TikTok on government-issued devices

 
The move comes after the European Commission, some U.S. States, and Australia, imposed similar bans on federal employees.

There are concerns over the proximity of TikTok to the Chinese government, and its hold of user data around the world.

Canada also went a step further, blocking federal employees from downloading the social media platform in the future.

TikTok has responded, saying it is disappointed with Canada’s decision.
