A U.S Navy sailor has been sentenced to 27 months in prison for unlawfully selling classified military information to China.

The serviceman was found guilty of compromising national security by sharing sensitive details about naval operations and technology.

The investigation revealed that the sailor had established illicit connections with individuals linked to the Chinese government, exchanging valuable military secrets for financial gain.
