Judge expected to hear requests from the Department of Justice and Trump’s team

A U.S. Magistrate Judge has scheduled an in-person hearing this week regarding the unsealing of FBI records related to last week’s raid of former President Donald Trump’s home.

Now, one-week after that unprecedented and shocking early-morning raid on former U.S. President Donald Trump’s private residence in Florida a Magistrate Judge has scheduled a hearing for 1p.m. Thursday.

The Judge is expected to hear requests from the Department of Justice and Trump’s team about the possibility of unsealing the raid affidavit.

Trump says the FBI raid was unjustified.

In the interest of transparency, he also called on federal investigators to release the affidavit related to the search of his home after the search warrant was unsealed.

However, the DOJ has already said it will not make the affidavit public because it concerns “highly sensitive information about witnesses.”

Trump’s son Eric, said in a prime-time cable interview that they are in possession of home-security video that captured the raid.

Former President Trump said in a Truth Social post that the FBI demanded that all security cameras be turned off during the Mar-a-Lago raid but they said no.

So far, there is no additional information has been shared from the Trump’s about the possibility of releasing the video footage.
