A grim warning from one of the Indian government’s top advisors … who says the country should brace for a third wave of coronavirus.

The country’s health system is buckling under soaring case numbers… people are being turned away from hospitals while makeshift crematoriums have been set up

412,000 new case were recorded today – and four thousand deaths.

The government’s principal scientific adviser has warned, even after infection rates subside the country should be ready for a third wave… given the high levels of circulating virus

Meanwhile, more than one thousand ventilators and oxygen concentrators have arrived in India, after a Qantas jet touched down from Australia today.
