ANZ Bank profit climbs as Australia bounces back from COVID

ANZ Australia and New Zealand Bank’s first-half profit climbs

The good news for ANZ bank comes as the lend wound back bad debt provisions made during the pandemic.

Cash earnings also rose to $3-billion Australian in six months.

ANZ is Australia’s second biggest bank.
