Volodymyr Zelensky condemns beheading of Ukrainian soldiers video

The President labels the Russian troops as ‘beasts’, implying the world will not ignore their actions

Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned the people who reportedly beheaded Ukrainian soldiers.

Footage has emerged on social media of Russian soldiers being involved in the actions.

The soldiers have yellow or white bands around their legs, which identifies them has being Russian.

They also hold up a piece of body armour with the symbol of the Ukrainian ground forces.

Ukraine’s president has labelled those responsible as ‘beasts’ and their actions can’t be ignored by the world.

“This is something that no one in the world can ignore,” Zelensky said in a video address. “How easily these beasts kill.”

“Everyone must react. Every leader. Do not wait for this to be forgotten.”
