The host nation has pledged to provide his country’s remaining fleet of MiG-29 fighter jets

Volodymyr Zelensky has visited Poland as the host nation pledges to provide more fighter jets.

Poland’s President Duda says his country’s remaining fleet of MiG-29 jets will be provided to Ukraine “if there is still such a need”.

This comes as Vladimir Putin accused the West of being involved in recent terror attacks on Russia.

Putin gave no evidence to back up these claims, but says there is every reason to believe Western intelligence services are “engaged in the preparation of such acts of sabotage.”

Zelensky’s trip to Warsaw is his first official visit to Poland since the invasion began.

Poland has been a key ally in supporting Ukraine and is at the forefront in pushing for arms supplies to its neighbour.

It was the first country to pledge Leopard 2 tanks.

Duda reiterated the country firmly supported Kyiv’s bid to join Nato and says he is trying to get “additional guarantees, security guarantees, which will strengthen Ukraine’s military potential”.
