The judge in the classified document’s case – the second of his three indictments – has set the trial date to begin in the middle of the 2024 election year.

Trump’s legal troubles keep mounting as the judge in the classified documents case has set the trial date to begin in May of 2024.

That’s of course the same year as the general election where he’s hoping to win a second Presidential term.

Trump’s lawyers had initially asked the judge to delay the proceedings until after the election.
They argued it was difficult to both run an election campaign and an adequate defence for the charges.
