The meeting came as world leaders gathered in Washington for a memorial service for Senator Lindsey Graham.

Trump also met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during this visit.

Reports suggest that Netanyahu aimed to present evidence of Iran’s activities at Pickaxe Mountain.

During a Fox News interview, Trump remarked that he does not need Netanyahu’s prompting to address Iran.

He noted his awareness of the situation at Pickaxe, stating a deal is preferable to escalation.

Netanyahu described the meeting as one of his best conversations with Trump, despite no official media briefing.

Public support for Israel in the U.S. has notably diminished recently.

Recent polling shows only 20% of respondents view Netanyahu favourably.

Tensions between Trump and Netanyahu have increased since the war with Iran began.

Trump criticized Netanyahu’s approach towards Lebanon, expressing concerns over Israel’s military actions.

He emphasized the negative consequences of potential attacks on Iran, stating it would harm civilians.

Discussions between the U.S. and Iran are reportedly ongoing, with Trump acknowledging some differences with Netanyahu.

The meeting with Zelenskyy was also described as productive by White House officials.
