The situation in Sudan has gone from bad to worse

Sudanese security forces have fired tear gas at protesters rallying against last month’s military takeover.

Thousands of demonstrators gathered in the nation’s capital and marched at the presidential palace.

Security forces were stationed around the palace to prevent demonstrators from approaching.

Protesters were seen chanting, and urging the military “to go back to their barracks”.

At least 43 people have been killed in anti-coup protests since last month.

Sudan’s Top General seized power and detained Prime Minister Ham-dock on the 25th of October.

But after international condemnation, he was reinstated in a deal signed last week.
