WATCH – White House Press Sec Psaki calls out Fox News

Published

on

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has rejected claims she called Fox News reporter Peter Doocy “stupid”

This follows Psaki contributing to a panel discussion with “Pod Save America”, where she was asked whether or not she thought the reporter is a “stupid son of a bitch”.

This question is a dig at previous remarks made by President Joe Biden, where Biden was caught off-guard saying just that.

But during the panel, Psaki responded saying Doocy “works for a network that provides people with questions that might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a bitch.”

The footage quickly spread online, as did allegations the Press Secretary genuinely believes Doocy is stupid.

This prompted Psaki to then post a tweet clearing up her remarks noting both Doocy and herself are just doing their jobs, adding they debate and disagree and she respects this.

Doocy has been criticised a lot over recent months for his questioning.

With Threads averaging 28 million daily active users compared to X’s 22 million, Meta’s ambitions to reach a billion users seem within reach despite a slowdown in growth. While X still boasts 550 million monthly active users globally, Threads’ focus on user experience and avoidance of real-time and political content could position it as a formidable competitor moving forward.
