Ousted AusPost CEO Christine Holgate lands new job at rival, Global Express

Former Australia Post boss, Christine Holgate will take over the role of CEO at rival company, Global Express.

Global Express was once part of the Toll group, but it is in the process of being sold to private equity firm, Allegro Funds.

Holgate says she is honoured to be joining the Global Express team, and she believes strongly in the potential of the company.

Allegro has pledged $500 million towards growing their latest business acquisition, which employes over 8,000 people.

Holgate sensationally resigned from Australia Post last year after the Cartier watch scandal, saying she was “pushed out” of the organisation.
