Tennis star Nick Kyrgios will come face-to-face with Novak Djokovic as part of an exhibition match.

Tennis star Nick Kyrgios had a dig at his critics after his warm-up match with Novak Djokovic sold out in 58 minutes.

The 27 year old tweeted “wow what a disgrace, a national embarrassment! How dare he sell out another stadium, the arrogance,” after one journalist made a comment on the match.

Kyrgios will play the former world number one in a repeat of last year’s Wimbledon final at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne before the Australian Open on Friday.

Almost 15,000 people will pack into the arena in a bid to catch Kyrgios’ on-court.

The match against Djokovic takes place on the same day as the release of Netflix documentary Break Point in which Kyrgios speaks about a “chaotic” period in his career.

Proceeds from the match will go to the Australian Tennis Foundation.
