Media Movers premieres on Ticker showcasing the industry’s biggest shifts

Media Movers premieres this week on Ticker, featuring industry leaders discussing the evolving global media landscape

Media Movers premieres this week on Ticker, focusing on the rapidly evolving media industry at a time of drastic change.

Guests on the first month of episodes include Melissa Hey, Chief Investment Officer at WPP Media Australia and New Zealand, and Simon Ryan, CEO of RyanCap.

Media insights

The program aims to provide a deep dive into the transformation of the media industry.

Each episode will feature discussions with industry leaders, offering insights into the evolving media landscape.

James Manning, host of Media Movers, spoke about the opportunity to investigate the future of the media industry.

Manning is a respected commentator, having run Mediaweek for 25 years and contributed to The Australian and Mumbrella. He previously co-hosted a media business show on Sky News Business, interviewing CEOs from major Australian media companies.

“Ahron Young and Ticker are providing a wonderful opportunity on their platform to analyse and investigate where the media industry is headed and what is working for the players, big and small, as they face an ever-changing landscape,” said James Manning, host of Media Movers.

“The Media Movers show will allow us to get immediate answers to some tough questions from the major players who will join us regularly on the show.

Ticker founder Ahron Young said the show will unpack the significant changes in the media industry.

Young says that Media Movers will feature conversations with leaders driving industry transformation. He explained the value of understanding the industry’s future direction.

“This is about understanding where the industry is heading, not where it’s been. There’s a real opportunity to take a positive, forward-looking view at a time when so much is shifting.

“James is the perfect person to lead that conversation. He understands the industry inside out, he’s respected across the sector, and he’s been a supporter of Ticker since day one, hosting one of our very first programs back in 2019. It’s fantastic to have him back on the network.”
