Instagram is creating a new feature to go head-to-head with one of its rival apps

Social media giant, Instagram is set to release its new feature dubber “IG Candid Challenges.”

The concept of “Be Real” encourages users to capture unfiltered and authentic photos of their lives, within a two minute time frame.

The popular app sends users a prompt and encourages them to snapshot what they’re up to at that very moment.

“Be Real” has gained global attention with 43.4 million downloads.

Now, Instagram wants in on the action and will use its new feature to encourage users to share photos to their stories within just two minutes.

Instagram will test the feature internally first, before being released to its users.
