Is ‘AI’ bringing a nightmare scenario to the 2024 U.S. presidential campaign?

Currently there is no federal regulations in place in the United States to combat fake artificial intelligence generated political videos or photographs.

 
As the 2024 presidential election season is underway, advertisements depicting everything from a dark, dystopian future awaiting voters should they send President Joe Biden back to the White House for another term to GOP presidential candidate Florida Governor Ron DeSantis being portrayed as a fictional character in the popular TV show, “The Office – have been generated by artificial intelligence software.

With campaigns gearing up for important primaries and alerted content being pumped out–voters must check up on images, videos, and sounds as concerns grow over digitally manipulated content.

So, will voters be left to question everything they see?
