If you’ve been wanting to get verified and have a nice blue tick next to your name on your Twitter profile – now you possibly can.

Twitter is set to resume its application process for verified accounts from this week, after years of pausing the program.

The social media company paused public submissions for these badges in 2017 amid criticism that its verification program was confusing.

Under the new rules, accounts must have been active in the last six months and depend on your career status.
