A U.S. student in Washington State showed up to his high school prom in a World War II army tank.

He raised money via GoFundMe and TikTok for the $1,000 tank to honour his late father.

Sherman has been planning the impressive entrance since Feb and his mum gave him the tick of approval to complete the mission.

She told local media Sherman Bynum devoted his time and energy to roll up in a tank when his dad passed away earlier this year.
