Harvey Weinstein has been found guilty of sex crimes in his second sexual assault trial

Former film producer Harvey Weinstein will face the prospect of additional jail time, after a Los Angeles court found him guilty of sex crimes.

The 70-year-old is already serving 23 years behind bars after another rape and sexual assault conviction in New York.

The court heard Weinstein used his influence to lure women into private meetings before assaulting them.

He was wearing a grey suit and is believed to have appeared pale in the courtroom.

Unlike previous court appearances, he was not using a wheelchair.

It is reported he looked down when the guilty verdict was handed down.

The jury of eight men and four women deliberated for nine days.

The charges centre around four women, with crimes stemming from 2005 to 2013.
