The President says Vladimir Putin “miscalculated” the war in Ukraine.

It comes as Russia continues to bombard its nearby neighbour with missiles in a week of brutality.

President Putin has been threatening the use of more advanced artillery in Ukraine, with many believing the use of nuclear weapons could be on the cards.

Of course, Biden has been warning about “nuclear armageddon”.

He believes the risks of nuclear war is at the highest level in 60 years.

The President told CNN’s Jake Tapper that contingencies have been laid out if Russia decides to use these devices.
