Canadian ecommerce firm Shopify announced it will launch an artificial intelligence assistant for merchants on its platform.

The assistant called “Sidekick” will answer merchant question, including details about sales trends.

Recently, several companies have launched AI assistants following the massive jump in the use of OpenAI’s chatbot ChatGPT.
