AOC believes Fox News should have apologised, calls for greater broadcast regulations

Democratic representative AOC says Dominion Voting Systems would have better served the U.S. if it forced Fox News to apologise for spreading lies about voter fraud.

Dominion and Fox settled this week, with Murdoch’s broadcaster agreeing to fork out $787 million.

Legal documents discuss the aftermath of Joe Biden’s election win and the run-up to the January 6 attack on Congress.

They suggest a number of Fox News hosts repeated claims they knew to be untrue.

Rupert Murdoch was among witnesses due to testify.

While AOC acknowledged Dominion’s executives had a job to secure to the most money possible, she believes an apology would have been far more effective. #trending #featured
