Amber Heard has taken to the stand in her trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp, choking back tears as she addressed the court

The Aquaman actor alleges Depp physically abused her starting with slaps and ending with a full cavity search.

It’s Heard’s first time taking to the stand in a case that is continuing to create news headlines right around the world.

Heard says the whole court process has been the most painful experience of her life to date.

Heard says she continued to stay with Depp because she wanted to believe his apologies and promises to never hit her again.

Heard says Depp’s alleged physical outburst against her was in response to comments she made about one of his tattoos.

She testified that her ex-husband slapped her twice before saying “you think it’s funny bitch”.

58-year-old Johnny Depp is suing Amber Heard for $50 million saying Heard has defamed him by claiming she is a victim of domestic abuse.

Meanwhile, 36-year-old Heard is counter-suing for $100 million saying Depp smeared her by calling her a liar.

Depp maintains he never struck his then-wife and says Heard’s allegations have cost him “everything” including a new “Pirates” movie that was put on hold and a role in the “Fantastic Beasts” film franchise.
