Israel at war with Hamas after surprise attacks

The Israeli military said it had called up an unprecedented 300,000 reservists and was imposing a total blockade of the Gaza Strip.

 
The terror attacks on Israel have killed at least nine Americans and at least 900 Israelis—many of them innocent civilians who were murdered inside their homes in their neighborhoods and slaughtered while dancing at a music festival.

At least 500 Palestinians have been killed in the fighting.

Explosions continue to light up the sky as Israel’s Iron Dome intercepts rockets that are fired every few minutes from Gaza.
