Donald Trump to make history in a Miami court

Published

on

It’s Donald Trump’s second arraignment but this one is far more significant for both Trump and the country.

Donald Trump hated his first arraignment day in Manhattan two months ago.

And it looks like the same sort of script will play out this time too.

The former U.S. president is facing criminal charges of unlawfully keeping national security documents and lying to officials who tried to recover them.

It’s not great P.R. for the man vying to return to the Oval Office in 2024.

And it’s far from the desired gift for Trump who faces court in the same week as his birthday.

And it’s no surprise, he’s calling this a hoax.

Trump’s sticking with his narrative that this whole thing is an assault on his supporters.

We heard from him at a rally in Georgia saying “they’re not coming after me, they’re coming after you”.

And it seems to be working, a recent CBS poll found 61 percent of GOP primary voters would give their support to Trump.

Now, that’s well ahead of his competitors like Ron De Santis on 23 percent.

Support for his former V-P Mike Pence sitting at just 4 per cent.

So how are his contenders using this indictment to their advantage? Can they even do that?

Well, Nikki Haley is trailing in the polls, and she’s having a real crack. #featured #trump
