Prince William begins planning coronation

Prince William wants his coronation service to “look and feel different” to that of King Charles III

Just days after his father’s coronation, Prince William is already thinking about how he will shake up his own crowning ceremony.

William says he wants it to “look and feel different”, so it is more“modern”and“relevant”.

Unlike the King, William will not include a“homage of the people”in his coronation.

At the recent service, the Archbishop of Canterbury invited the congregation at Westminster Abbey and people right around the world, to swear their allegiance to the King, his“heirs and successors”.

This decision was met with widespread controversy.

A source close to William says:“There is no way he will go down that route or anything like it.”

William has reportedly been“reflecting”on the events of last week with his closest friends and advisers.

He is mindful that in 20 years’ time, the service will need to be different to unify the nation and the Commonwealth. #trending #featured
