The 84-year-old is accused of shooting the 16-year-old teenager in the head and arm

An 84-year-old man accused of shooting a black teenager, who mistakenly rang his doorbell, has turned himself in.

Andrew Lester allegedly shot Ralph Yarl, A 16-year-old black teen, once in the head and once in the arm last week.

Yarl was lucky to survive the attack.

A massive crowd crowded in front of the white man’s home.

Lester was released after posting 10 per cent of the total $200,000 bail amount.

A prosecutor said there was a “racial component” to the shooting but Lester has not been charged with a hate crime.

He has been charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

Ralph Yarl’s high school classmates have walked out in support of him, demanding justice on his behalf.

The teen even got his support from NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes.
