Chris Hemsworth takes a break from acting after devastating health news

Chris Hemsworth has decided to step away from acting to spend more time with his family.

It follows Hemsworth receiving news that he was eight to 10 times more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease than the average person.

During a recent documentary, he says the idea that he won’t be able to remember his wife, or kids is one of his biggest fears.

The Thor star says the news changed his desire to watch his kids grow up.

He also wants to be in a space of stillness and gratitude as he comes to terms with the news.
