Boris Johnson has signed off with ‘Hasta la vista, baby” at the final Prime Minister’s Questions session of his tenure as UK leader.

The UK’s outgoing prime minister, Boris Johnson has defended his record in his final PMQs session of his tenure as prime minister.

Delivering an address to the House of Commons, he said he had navigated the country though a pandemic – and protected another country from barbarism – a reference to his efforts to defend Ukraine from Russian invasion.

Prime Minister’s Questions – or PMQs happens once a week, on Wednesday in the UK.

The House of Commons has a chance to challenge and question the prime minister in full.
