After over 50 left their roles from Johnson’s government, the soon to go PM has appointed a new cabinet in the meantime.

Following the string of resignations handed to Boris Johnson in the space of just a few days, the outgoing Prime Minister has appointed his new cabinet.

The new ministers will remain in place up until Johnson’s successor is elected by the Conservative party.

Johnson is pledging he will not make any major policy decisions while he stays on as caretaker PM.

Interestingly, Will Quince will resume in his post as education minister.

But not everyone is happy with Johnson’s decision to carry on with former prime minister Sir John Major saying the move is “unwise and may be unsustainable.”
