The world was watching and waiting with bated breath as police and the local community conducted a massive land, air and sea search, seemingly to no avail.

But police forced their way into a home in the town of Carnarvon early Wednesday morning and found Cleo alive and well in one of the rooms.

One of the police officers picked her up into his arms and asked her, “what’s your name?” and she replied, “my name is Cleo”.

These four words have been published right around the world alongside a photo of Cleo happy and smiling after being taken to hospital for observation and tests.

A 36-year-old man is currently being held in custody and is being questioned by detectives over Cleo’s disappearance.

As we await to hear if the man in custody will be charged for the disappearance, serious questions still remain as to what happened to Cleo over the course of those 19 days and what the intentions were of her alleged abductor
