Key parties who are involved in Myanmar’s anti-coup movement have moved to denounce the five-point consensus that was reached during a recent ASEAN summit.

The parties, who have been coordinating strikes throughout the country, say the five points are not in line with people’s wishes.

The General Strike Committee says the results achieved at the summit “do not reflect the views and voices of the Myanmar people and will not solve the political crisis in Myanmar”.
