The Chinese leader criticised Trudeau for speaking about their closed door talks.

Speaking in Mandarin with a translator by his side, Xi put the Canadian in his place.

The heated exchange is rare for the Chinese leader, who traditionally holds highly orchestrated encounters with world leaders.

Following the meeting, Canada’s Trudeau insists he won’t compromise transparency with his country.
