There is fury building among the LGBTQ community after a transgender Harvard Graduate died in Police Custody in Bali

32-year-old, Rodrigo Ventosilla was on his honeymoon, with his new husband, when he was detained upon arrival.

The Harvard Graduate as accused of carrying cannabis upon arrival.

Five days later, he died in hospital under suspicious circumstances.

Bali Police claim Ventosilla ingested medication that they failed to confiscate and died from a “failure of bodily functions.”

His family, along with hundreds of activists, fear he was a victim of “racial discrimination and transphobia.”
