A former commander of the U.S. Army in Europe has told CBS News that he believes Russia will exhaust its ability to fight in Ukraine within ten days.

Ben Hodges says Russia is running out of time, ammunition, and manpower in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the first convoy of cars has escaped the port of Mariupol, following 10 days of Ukrainian authorities attempting to get civilians to safety.

Civilian casualties have reached 1761 since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in late February.

The United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine says that as of midnight on Monday, there were over 600 people killed and over one thousand injured civilians.

This comes as Russia hits Kharkiv with ballistic missiles and Heavy fighting in Donbas.

According to Ukraine’s Armed Forces, 100 Russian soldiers were killed & six vehicles were destroyed in the region.
