Netflix has hired a former Apple Executive to oversee its podcasting business

N-Jeri Eaton will head podcasting as the streaming platform jumps into the world of audio.

Netflix has a bold new plan for podcasts that are linked to their Original T-V series and movies.

“Netflix Podcasts explore the world of Netflix through audio,” the company says on its website. “We go behind the scenes of series and films, dig deeper with your favorite stars, and explore the most exciting projects on the platform.”

The company already has several companion podcasts about their shows like ‘The Witcher; and ‘The Crown’.

Netflix also produces several podcasts about pop culture or feature stars from their programs…

On social media, Eaton says she had a “front row seat to the launch of Apple Podcasts” and will missing her time at the tech-giant.
