Awards season may be over but one star has received a title that some would say is better than an Oscar itself

Captain America has swapped his shield for a new badge of honour.

Chris Evans has been named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.

Evans told the magazine “My mom will be so happy.. this is something she can really brag about”

Evans face is splashed over People’s cover story, which hits newsstands on Friday.
